The company, founded by Scott Martin, has strived to provide the best custom apparel for everyone ranging from local sports teams, to local businesses, to statewide agencies, and to those looking to wear their Yooper pride for everyone to see. Covid-19 forced us to pivot from being a screen printing company, to a Clothing Manufacturer.
Here at Martin Sports, we never focus on simply selling our customers apparel with the best screen printing and embroidery in Marquette County and beyond, but focus instead of building relationships. We accomplish this with a great staff, the best pricing around, outstanding custom designs, and a drive to produce the best products we can. How do we accomplish that goal? It’s simple — we do each job as though they were being done for our own family.
Those personal relationships we’ve developed with our clientele, have helped us keep pace with the large chain stores and have allowed us to carry the latest styles from the top brands in the business.
Martin Sports began simply as an embroidery business in the back of a computer repair shop, but quickly expanded to screen printing and custom team uniforms. From there we have expanded to custom hats, hoodies, coats, and more.
Most recently, and ahead of anyone else in the Upper Peninsula, we have added fully customized sublimation printing on everything from team uniforms to shirts and hoodies. Our process allows for zero restriction on colors, and has a three-week turnaround time — absolutely the fastest in the business.
Martin Sports and Great Lakes Clothing Company continues to expand and grow with each passing year, starting from one simple embroidery machine to multiple machines, screen printing, heat pressing, custom sublimation printing, a major brand in the Sim Racing market and more.
